Gen3 repairs, spares and parity discussed in BJR Run Down

The Brad Jones Racing Run Down has finally reconvened after the Easter break to go over everything that happened at the Melbourne SuperSprint.

Teams faced a few challenges across the weekend from the long walks to transporters to difficult turnarounds for repairs.

Podcast hosts Macauley Jones and BJR General Manager Chris Westwood discuss Jones’ weekend in detail, including the repairs his car had to undergo over the weekend

While the driver of the #96 Pizza Hut Racing Camaro had a speedy race car and finished the weekend with two top 10s, it wasn’t without its fair share of drama.

Jones tapped the wall during the first practice session and while there wasn’t any obvious damage to any of the control arms or the uprights, it did bend the rear clip.

The #96 crew opted to not change the rear clip over the weekend and managed the issue over the ensuing four races.

Westwood and Jones also give their opinion on the ongoing parity debate between the Gen3 Camaro and Mustang.

The BJR Run Down is a regular podcast produced by the Supercars team aiming to give insights into the Albury squad and an inside look into pitlane happenings.
