Exchanges and Refunds

Brad Jones Racing (BJR) Refund and Exchange Policy

If you wish to return products to us, you must notify BJR through the ‘Contact Us’ section of the Website within seven days of receiving the product(s). Claims for returns made outside this time will be at the discretion of BJR.

All returns and exchanges must be made within 30 days of receipt of the item(s).

When you ‘Contact us’, please provide:

  • your full name and address

  • the original order number

  • a contact phone number; and

  • the reason for claiming the exchange or refund.

Refunds

You will be entitled to a refund (subject to our Condition of returned product policy – see below) where:

  • the product is faulty or damaged (Faulty/Damaged Products) and BJR cannot provide a replacement of that product.

  • the product is not fit for the purpose that products of that kind are commonly bought

  • the product does not match the sample or description advertised on our website; or

  • we are required to do so under any relevant laws.

Under these circumstances, BJR will refund the full amount of the purchase, including the original delivery charges paid by you.

We reserve the right to assess the condition of all returned products prior to offering a refund. This may result in a refund being refused by us, and the product being returned to you at your expense.

Exchanges

You will be entitled to an exchange (subject to our Condition of returned product policy – see below) where:

  • The product is faulty or damaged (Faulty/Damaged Products) and BJR can provide a replacement of that product. BJR will pay the additional delivery charges of the replacement product to you. BJR will need evidence (for example, photos of the Faulty/Damaged Product) and will discuss with you whether the faulty or damaged product should be returned to BJR. If BJR decides the Faulty/Damaged Product should be returned, BJR will provide a prepaid envelope for the return or pay the cost of the return delivery charges paid by you. 

  • You wish to change the size of the product (Change of Mind Return Product) and BJR has replacement stock. The cost of returning the original product and the cost of delivering the replacement product to you, are payable by you.

Condition of returned product

All products must be returned new and in the same condition as they were sent (except where the damage occurs during delivery), with original packaging, labels attached, unworn, unused and not soiled or damaged.

Ride Days

Brad Jones Racing reserves the right to cancel or refuse a hot lap to guests if they do not meet the following Terms and Conditions.

Restrictions :

Height – 195cm maximum
Weight – 95kg maximum
Waist – 91cm maximum

Hot Laps cannot be taken by a person with a pre-existing heart ailment or injury or any impediment that may prevent them from being able to exit the race car without help.

Pregnant guests are unable to take a hot lap.

Guests must have 0.0 BAC.

What to bring:
- Voucher provided by BJR
- Photo ID
- Closed in shoes
- Comfy clothing, preferably long pants, and long sleeves.

Operational

1.     The date and location of the hot lap are not negotiable.

2.   If the ride does not proceed due to inclement weather, vehicle breakdown, COVID-19 restrictions, changes to a track or any other circumstances, BJR will do its best to provide an alternate arrangement. However, this may not be possible.

3.     Guests should arrive 30 minutes before their scheduled ride time.

4.     Guests are responsible for making their own way to and from the ride day. BJR or their sponsors are not responsible for any costs associated with getting to and from the race track.

5.     Guests must follow BJR personnel instructions, and the rules and regulations set out at each track. Please act appropriately.

6.     Guest must sign an indemnity form before the commencement of their ride releasing to the extent permitted by law Brad Jones Racing PTY LTD from any liability in relation to the Participant’s undertaking of the Hot Lap.

Guests must:

7.     Be over the age of 16. Anyone under 18 must sign a special participant form at the track in the presence of a parent or legal guardian.

8.     Wear fully enclosed shoes and appropriate clothing that allows a full-length race suit (overalls) to be easily worn over the top of their clothes. No Nylon clothing should be worn. Pants are advised, as opposed to skirts or dresses. All jewellery must be removed before getting into the car. Helmets, gloves, etc will be provided by BJR and must be worn.

9.     Not take photos when in the race car. Personal cameras of any kind (including mobile phones and GoPros) are not permitted inside the cars. BJR will provide a video (on a USB) of your Ride Experience. Guests are welcome to take photos before or after your ride, and don’t forget to share them on social media!

10. Passengers are only permitted to wear their own helmet if it meets current safety standards and is fitted with the correct HANS device posts.
