BJR driven by Mack Trucks Australia

Brad Jones Racing will rely on Mack Trucks Australia to haul its race cars to every Repco Supercars Championship event from mid-2023.

One of the most crucial performance parts in a Supercars team is its transport and BJR is delighted to have a pair of Anthem Mack trucks in their arsenal.

The two Anthems have been built specifically for BJR and will be delivered to the team in May.

The trucks, which are designed, engineered and built in Australia will transport the new Camaros from Albury across some of the most beautiful and rugged landscapes of our country.

BJR trusts Mack to ensure our precious cargo reaches race tracks in seven states and territories, including crossing the Nullabor to reach Perth and up Stuart Highway, right through the red center of Australia to get to Darwin.

The race team’s journey to the track is just as important as what happens on it and there is no doubt the legendary bulldog is up for the job.

The tough trucks’ endurance is proven through their over 100 years in Australia, their durable and reliable vehicles, built in Queensland have been tested by everything this great land has to throw at them.

The Mack logo is featured on the rear wing of Andre Heimgartner and Bryce Fullwood’s Chevrolet Camaros.

What our team has to say…

Brad Jones,
Team owner, Brad Jones Racing

“No one could be happier about this than our two truck drivers, Simon and Paulie. They put in some serious hours on the road and now they get to do it from the drivers’ seat of a Mack Anthem - they’re over the moon.”

“Partnering with Mack Trucks Australia is a massive boost for our team. Mack is an icon of our highways and having our team travelling around Australia in Australian built machinery is something that is hugely gratifying.

“It’ll be a proud moment watching these two pristine trucks pull off the Hume Highway come around the corner to our workshop, I’ll stand out the front and greet them.”

Paul Eddy
Truck driver, Brad Jones Racing

“I’m very excited to be able to get in the Anthem, being able to represent Mack on the road and in the Supercars paddock means a lot.”

Simon Odewhan
Truck driver, Brad Jones Racing

“The Mack brand means a lot to me, it’s a return of sorts for me with us getting these Anthems. I’ve had a lot to do with Mack over the years and I’m stoked to get behind the wheel of one again.”
