Middy’s Electrical Camaro pink and prepped for Supercars’ Gen3 in 2023

The Brad Jones Racing Middy’s Electrical Camaro has been unveiled for the 2023 Repco Supercars Championship.

The #14 Camaro, steered by Darwin-born Bryce Fullwood is another standout for the Middy’s Electrical team.

The new-for-2023 Chevrolet Camaro is striking in Middy’s  pink and blue tones with a web of lightning highlighting the silhouette of the revolutionary Gen3 car.

The dark bonnet, adorned with Prolac provides stark contrast to the rest of the scheme on the Camaro which is thanks to PPG and 3M.

Middy’s Electrical is Australia’s largest family owned and independent electrical wholesaler who have been supplying the electrical industry since 1928.

Middy’s pride themselves on trusted long lasting relationships, and this is no more evident than in its lasting support of Bryce Fullwood from go karts right through to his Supercars career today.

Fullwood is electrified ahead of the first Supercars round in Newcastle, refreshed after the off-season and energised by the introduction of Gen3.

The 24-year-old undertook training to prepare himself for the challenge the new regulations bring and with BJR’s own preparation and build of the Camaros, Fullwood is in an excellent position to take advantage of the relative unknown of the new generation of racing.

The shift into Gen3 in the Supercars Champions introduces a sweeping change of technological advances for the category from drive-by-wire to the carbon fibre-kevlar compound used for the bodywork, which sits hand-in-hand with Middy’s drive to provide the latest technology and smart solutions to their customers.

Fullwood’s 2023 campaign will also be supported by 3M, Coca-Cola, Coregas, Gliderol, Dunlop, GM, Hare and Forbes Machineryhouse, Lansvale Smash Repairs, Larsen Engineering, Mastercam, Mizuno, PPG, Summit, Speedflow, Topps, Unit and Wagga Motors.

What they have to say…

Bryce Fullwood

Driver, #14 Middy’s Electrical Chevrolet Camaro

“I took the opportunity over the off season to invest in myself a bit and do some training ahead of Newcastle. Seeing the work the team is putting in to get ready for Gen3, I did the same.

“The Middy’s Electrical Camaro is yet another standout in the Supercars field, you really can’t miss it. It’ll be cool to get it in front of the fans and crowds in Newcastle.”

Brad Jones

Team Owner, Brad Jones Racing

“You really can’t look past the Middy’s Electrical Camaro, the car is a standout. It’s now an icon on the Supercars grid, the bright pink and blue car and this year’s version is the best yet.

“Middy’s Electrical are great partners and excellent to work with, our two businesses share common family values and trust in long lasting relationships, this can be evidenced in their support of Bryce since karting.

“ I would also like to welcome Prolac to the team for four of our signature events; they will be front and centre on the bonnet of the Camaro.

“With the new car and Bryce and Phil having a year together already we are looking for a strong performance with this team in 2023.”

Nicholas Middendorp
Director, Middy’s Electrical

“Both my cousin Co-Director Anton Middendorp and myself have been extremely impressed with how the #14 Middy’s Camaro has been built and prepared by BJR.

“We think the Camaro looks amazing; the Middy’s pink is always impossible to miss on the track.

“We would like to thank Brad Jones and his team’s efforts in getting the job done, it has been incredible, and we are all very excited here at Middy’s to see both Bryce Fullwood and the #14 Middy’s Camaro out on the track at Newcastle on March 10 -12.”
