Andre Heimgartner will be joined in the R&J Batteries Camaro by Dale Wood, the pair started the 2022 Great Race race just outside the top ten and were picked as an outside chance at a podium, however weren’t able to get a single racing lap in after being taken out in an unfortunate incident.

This year will be Wood’s 16th entry into the 1000 and his sixth for the BJR team.

Dean Fiore will partner Bryce Fullwood in the #14 Middy’s Racing entry, after the pair raced to ninth in last year’s edition of the Bathurst 1000.

Fiore and Fullwood lined up on the grid in 24th before clawing their way into the top ten by the chequered flag.

This year will be the ex-Supercars driver’s 15th time contesting the 1000.

Macauley Jones will share driving duties with young gun Jordan Boys in the Pizza Hut Racing Camaro.

Boys is no stranger to Bathurst, having raced and won at the legendary track in Super2 however it will be just his third time starting the 1000.

Jones and Boys put in a great performance in 2022, making their way from 22nd to 13th over the course of the 6.41 hour race.

Porsche Racing star Jaxon Evans is back behind the wheel of the #4 SCT Logistics Camaro alongside Jack Smith.

The two time Porsche Carrera Cup Champion and sportscar ace made his Bathurst 1000 debut at the 2022 edition of the race, one that threw all sorts of challenges throughout the turbulent weather.

Nevertheless the rookie impressed and is pumped to team up with Smith again for another tilt.

The Kiwi is currently a contracted Porsche Driver, racing internationally in the IMSA SportsCar Championship & ADAC GT Masters amongst others..

Those commitments mean that Evans won’t be attending BJR’s test day in May.

The rest of the seven BJR drivers will be in action at Winton Motor Raceway on the 31st of May for one of the team’s allocated test days.

What our co-drivers had to say…

Dale Wood
Supercars Co-driver, #8 R&J Batteries Camaro
"I am very excited to be joining BJR again for another 2 years. It is a place I definitely call and feel at home, I love the team and environment.

"Andre is in great form and am equally excited to jump in the R & J batteries Gen3 Camaro. It is great Sandown is back on the enduro calendar and I think it gives us a great lead up to Bathurst."

Dean Fiore
Supercars Co-driver #14 Middy’s Electrical Camaro

"It’s my 15th time heading to the Bathurst 1000 and after last year with Bryce I’m hungrier than ever! I was proud of what we were able to achieve and we’re much better placed this year, with Phil and Bryce putting that final piece of the driver/engineer puzzle together.”

Jordan Boys
Supercars Co-driver #96 Pizza Hut Camaro
"I'm really excited to be back with Macca for a second year. We want to build off what we did at Bathurst last year, which was a strong result and for us pretty close to a top 10, which was sort of our goal going in. So good to build off that.

"Sandown for me is a bit of a bucket list thing. It's pretty cool to be a part of such a historic event."

Jaxon Evans
Supercars Co-Driver #4 SCT Logistics Camaro
“I’m really excited to be heading back to the Supercars Championship, along side Jack and the SCT Logistics crew. Last years event was a massive learning curve and a career goal that I was able to tick off. “

“The addition of the Sandown 500 hopefully means that, with a little more seat time we will go to the mountain with some confidence”

“Of course this year will be quite different with the new Gen3 cars, but it’s a new challenge and I’m eager to get behind the wheel of the Camaro in the near future!”
