BJR Run Down: Winton Test Day ‘Vital’ For Figuring Out Gen3 Intricacies

The latest episode of the Brad Jones Racing Run Down has Macauley Jones and BJR General Manager Chris Westwood sit down to discuss the last Supercars Championship round.

It was an up and down weekend at the Apple Isle for the BJR team and even more so for Jones himself who had an uphill battle finding confidence under braking in his Pizza Hut Camaro.

Jones’ explains how he and his engineer, Andrew Donnelly, worked throughthat over the course of the three races at Symmons Plains.

Moving forward, Jones and the rest of the team are heading to Winton Motor Raceway on May 31 for one of their three test days.

This outing is important to the team as they come to terms with the new Gen3 cars.

After four rounds of the Repco Supercars Championship, the squad is still learning how to maximise performance of their Camaros.

The team will take on board the crucial lessons from the test day before heading into the Darwin round on June 16-18.

The BJR Run Down is a regular podcast produced by the Supercars team aiming to provide insight into the Albury-based squad and the Supercars paddock.
