LEADING LOCAL BUSINESSES GET BEHIND JONES FOR THE BEND SUPERSPRINT

Brad Jones Racing is excited to unveil TRG Transport Solutions as naming rights sponsor for the #96 Commodore of Macauley Jones for The Bend.

Hailing from South Australia, TRG is one of Australia’s largest transport companies and is no stranger to Macca’s car – occupying the front air intake as season sponsor thus far in 2022.

TRG was also major sponsor on Todd Hazlewood’s 2021 entry at The Bend Motorsport Park.

Managing Director Tony Musolino said the team was enjoying the BJR partnership and he was very proud to see the company take over naming rights for its “home” round at The Bend and looking forward to seeing the car hit the track.

“TRG has always been very proud of its community and is passionate about supporting local sporting events. Being South Australian-based, Tailem Bend is our “home” Supercars circuit and to once again be able to get our name out there in front of our community alongside a team like Brad Jones Racing is outstanding.

“Brad is a great operator and while this is not the first time we have sponsored a BJR car, 2022 has been the first time throwing our support behind Macauley in the 96 car.

“We’ve been really impressed with Macca, he’s had some very consistent results and showed some serious speed and maturity this season.

“The car is looking amazing and we’re really looking forward to the weekend and seeing what the team can do at The Bend.”

The #96 car is also welcoming Southern Contracting Group Pty Ltd for The Bend, a proud family owned and operated business based in Lameroo.

Boasting a fleet of heavy-duty equipment and machinery, SCG operates a Bluestone Quarry in the Adelaide hills and specialises in bulk haulage, ready mix concreting, mobile rock crushing and screening quarry products such as limestone and bluestone.

Director Matthew Ramke said the family-run company had started from small beginnings in the local community 16 years ago and the partnership with BJR stemmed from those values.

“It’s great to see us on the front of the #96 car and we’re really looking forward to getting out to The Bend this weekend and seeing Macauley and the whole team in action.”

The TRG Transport Solutions Racing entry has continued support from Tools.com, Kubota, Pertamina Fastron Synthetic, Automotive Superstore, Coregas, 3M, PPG, Dunlop, Acer, Mizuno, Sparco and UNIT.
