Brad Jones Racing’s engineering crew locked in for 2023

Andrew ‘Donners’ Donnelly

Despite some off-season movement, Brad Jones Racing is pleased to confirm a familiar engineering line-up for the new Repco Supercars Championship season.

Julian Stannard is welcomed back into the role of Race Engineer at BJR, joining the crew on the #4 Camaro.

While Andrew Donnelly is being elevated to the Race Engineer position in the #96 garage, having been a Data Engineer with the team for the last four years.

  • #4 Chevrolet Camaro - Julian Stannard

  • #8 Chevrolet Camaro - Tony Woodward

  • #14 Chevrolet Camaro - Phil Keed

  • #96 Chevrolet Camaro - Andrew Donnelly

The continuity of personnel into Gen3 brings a level of confidence for the team as BJR forges on in the build of its four Camaros.

Stannard is highly regarded and respected in the pitlane and for the last two years has occupied the role of Performance Engineer at BJR.

The team is excited to see him back on race duties having last held the position for Macauley Jones’ car in 2020.

Donnelly’s (or ‘Donners’) move into race engineer is the latest during his rise at BJR, having started as a Data Engineer in the Super3/Super2 programs in 2019 before progressing to the maingame cars in 2020.

The Albury workshop has been a hive of activity over the summer as the team pieces together the all-new for 2023 Chevrolets, documenting the build in an informative video series.

The cars are expected to test at Winton Motor Raceway in early February and Sydney Motorsport Park on February 22, before racing gets underway in Newcastle (March 10-12).
