BJR Run Down: Gold Coast predictions, Bathurst woes and parity talk

The Brad Jones Racing Run Down podcast reviews the Bathurst 1000 talking about everything from team-mate clashes to soft tyre strategies and ongoing parity discourse.

Macauley Jones and BJR General Manager Chris Westwood sat down after ‘the big one’ to debrief the weekend that was and look ahead to the Gold Coast 500.

Jones discusses how the Gen3 cars went at Bathurst in comparison to their predecessors and how the soft tyres changed the race.

The Great Race was bruising for Jones himself; on lap 42 the driver of the #96 Camaro tangled with team-mate Jack Smith at The Chase.

The Pizza Hut Racing driver explains the incident that put both of them multiple laps down.

Finally, Westwood and Jones look ahead to the upcoming Gold Coast 500 (November 27-29), outlining the expectations and concerns for the lifetime of cars’ front bars at the kerb-heavy circuit.

The BJR Run Down is a regular podcast produced by the Supercars team aiming to provide insight into the Albury-based squad and the Supercars paddock.
