Jones and Westwood catch up on all the hot topics in Supercars, including the 2024 calendar, wind tunnel testing and the continued development of Gen3.
The 2024 Supercars calendar broke cover today, with 12 rounds across ten months and two countries.
Supercars will head to Taupo Motorsport Park in New Zealand’s north, something Jones is very excited for.
Jones muses that it’s not often that the Championship gets to try out new permanent circuits so the NZ sojourn is one of the big highlights for the year.
The pair also discuss a discovery post-GC, with multiple teams reporting cracking in their bellhousing which is now being investigated and fixed.
With parity talk still dominating chat around Supercars, Jones also agrees that it’s the best thing for Supercars to head to the USA to put the Camaro and Mustang in a wind tunnel.
