BJR opens workshop doors for community day
As a prelude to the 2024 Supercars season Brad Jones Racing invites fans and the local Albury community to explore their workshop on Saturday February 10.
The day follows the first Supercars test at Winton Motor Raceway (Wednesday February 7), and they’re keen to open the doors to all aspects of the team’s home base in North Albury.
With all four Gen3 Supercars on display, pit stop demonstrations from the five time championship-winning crew, discounted merchandise sales, tours through the facility, special prizes, and a whole lot more; the day promises to be a memorable event for anyone who swings by.
Event Schedule:
12:00 - Workshop opens for fans, welcome note from Brad Jones
12:15 - Guided tours in groups of 20
13:00 - Pit stop demonstration
13:15 - Brad Jones Q&A
13:30 - Raffled winner drawn
14:00 - Conclusion of event
Address: 838 Hope Court, Albury 2640 NSW
Since entering Supercars in the 2000, it’s the first time BJR are opening their doors to the broader community.
The team, which is the only Supercars squad based in regional Australia and has a proud history of over 40 years of operation in Albury, looks to bring fans closer than ever before to the sport.
Fielding Andre Heimgartner, Bryce Fullwood, Macauley Jones and newcomer to Supercars but highly experienced international driver Jaxon Evans in the 2024 Championship, BJR is excited for the season ahead.
Finishing third in the Team’s Championship last year, equalling their best result from 2013, the crew is looking for more of the same success in the new year.
The campaign kicks off at the Bathurst 500 on February 23-25 at the legendary Mount Panorama Racing Circuit.

“This open day isn’t something we’ve really done previously but I’m excited to pull open the doors and welcome fans and the community in to see what we do.
“We’re the only regional Supercars team and we’re proud Albury locals so it’s a great opportunity to really bring our local community into our workshop - there is really such an amazing amount of support we get from everyone in Albury and Wodonga and that’s quite special to me.
“It’s a challenge being a regional team, especially for our fans who would need to travel to Albury for our open day but if you’re on the fence, make the call and come for the drive. It’s a beautiful city to make a full weekend of.
“Over 2023 we brought fans along for the ride as we built and developed our Gen3 cars with our video series and the amount of kind messages and feedback we had from that was mind-blowing. I hope our open day is another avenue we can continue with to bring fans closer to the sport.”
