R&J BATTERIES

Fresh from a 2nd place finish in Darwin last weekend, BJR’s Nick Percat in the R&J Batteries Supercar has his eyes set firmly on the podium once again as we hit the streets of Townsville for the NTI Townsville SuperSprint this weekend – the first of an epic double header!

Nick is on fire this year and he knows just what it’s like to do a fast lap around the Reid Park circuit, as it’s another track on the Supercars’ calendar where he holds the race lap record. He set the 1m12.9s time back in 2017, and it is still yet to be beaten! Townsville is always a hit with drivers and fans and this weekend is going to be another cracker with three 39 lap races plus the top ten shootout.

Stay tuned to the Brad Jones Racing Facebook and Instagram pages across the event for the latest updates on Nick in the R&J Batteries Supercar. Broadcast of the race will be LIVE on Channel 10 and FOX Sports 506. Your local TV times and coverage information can be found here - https://www.supercars.com/tv-schedule/

TEAM COOLDRIVE

Another double-header is upon us and Macca is set for a big one at the NTI Townsville SuperSprint this weekend.

The Townsville Reid Park circuit is one of Macca’s favourites – who can forget in 2018 when he was all set for a memorable Super 2 double victory before the car failed...twice! Top speeds around this 2.86km track reach up around the 260km/h and it’s a thrilling combination of purpose built roads and normal Townsville streets. With only soft tyres once again available across the whole weekend, Macca and engineer Jules will be focusing on strategy.

Stay tuned to the CoolDrive Auto Parts Facebook and Instagram pages across the event for the latest updates on Macca. Broadcast of the race will be LIVE on Channel 10 and FOX Sports 506. Your local TV times and coverage information can be found here - https://www.supercars.com/tv-schedule/

TEAM BLACK DUCK

Todd is set to soar at the NTI Townsville SuperSprint this weekend, the first of the big double header and there’s a brand new livery to look out for too as Black Duck take naming rights for the two Queensland races.

With only softs on the tyre menu, just like last weekend in Darwin, strategy will again be the key for the three 39 lap races. To top things off there’s the always entertaining top ten shootout on the weekend’s agenda too. It’s a recipe for another spectacular weekend of racing!
