R&J BATTERIES

BJR’s Nick Percat is ready to give Townsville another crack this weekend and after narrowly missing out on a podium last weekend, coming away 4th, you’d better believe that Team R&J Batteries will come out firing on Saturday for day one of the Robson Civil Projects Townsville SuperSprint – the final part of an epic double-header!

Nick still holds the race lap record at the beautiful Reid Park circuit. He set the 1m12.9s time back in 2017, and it is still yet to be beaten! The schedule for the weekend is the same as Townsville 1.0 last weekend, with three 39 lap races plus the top ten shootout. Limited fans are back on track so it’s going to be another awesome event for the final show in Townsville.

Stay tuned to the Brad Jones Racing Facebook and Instagram pages across the event for the latest updates on Nick in the R&J Batteries Supercar. Broadcast of the race will be LIVE on Channel 10 and FOX Sports 506. Your local TV times and coverage information can be found here - https://www.supercars.com/tv-schedule/

TEAM BLACK DUCK

Todd is set for another big weekend and after his huge efforts last Sunday scoring 5th, just shy of that podium, we’re excited for what’s to come. We also get to see the black duck livery out soaring around the streets of Reid Park as Black Duck SeatCovers continue for the second double header. And wasn’t it a sight to see!

With only softs on the tyre menu, just like last weekend, strategy will again be the key for the three 39 lap races. Top speeds around this 2.86km track reach up around the 260km/h mark and it’s a thrilling combination of purpose built roads and normal Townsville streets. To top things off there’s the always entertaining top ten shootout on the weekend’s agenda too. It’s a recipe for another spectacular weekend of racing!
