RECAP – Qualifying for the 120km race didn’t go to plan. The team left Nick with no time to post a flying lap with a miscommunication placing him in 19th.
With his qualifying position going against his plans he was left to race hard and fast. Percat continued to prove his abilities by racing to 8th place.
His charge to the front was sensational as he passed more drivers than anyone in the race moving up 11 positions. The P8 moved Nick to 8th in the Supercars Championship.
The team is now focused on achieving a better qualifying position for tomorrow’s 200km battle.

THE WORD FROM NICK
“We proved again to have a great race car. I am happy and yet frustrated because I know what we are capable of but its hard to race for podiums whilst starting in 19th. Hopefully tonight we can devise a plan to have a better qualifying car because I would like to race the guys up front from the beginning of the race”
