Summit Fleet might be getting a few calls from people looking to lease a Supercar when Nick Percat debuts the white-hot #8 Summit Fleet Racing ZB Commodore at the Coates Hire Ipswich SuperSprint this weekend.
Summit Fleet Leasing and Management was established in Australia in 1997, and is majority owned by the Sumitomo Mitsui Auto Service Company, Limited (SMAS). SMAS is the leading fleet leasing and management organization in Japan, and continues to grow in India, Thailand, Indonesia and Australia, making them one of the top ten fleet management and leasing organizations globally.
The Summit Fleet Racing Supercar has had quite the transformation this week, with a tight turnaround between events, the BJR fleet travelled direct from Townsville to Brisbane. The Supercar was only just re-wrapped in its fresh Summit Fleet Racing livery last night in front of a huge crowd at the Freightliner ‘Big Boys Toys’ event at Daimler Trucks Brisbane.
Brad Jones “We’ve had a great relationship with David and the team at Summit Fleet for over 15 years now. As a team we are constantly on the road travelling from circuit to circuit, so we have a great range of their high-quality fleet cars which keep us on the move. Summit Fleet have the ability to look after a variety of organizations, from small or large businesses, non-for-profit organizations, hospitals and schools.”
“Summit Fleet work closely with the team at the Mater Hospital in Brisbane, so this week we’ve sent the drivers there to visit some of the patients. Over the last couple of years, they’ve spent time with the young adult ward doing fun MasterChef style cooking challenges. This year they’ve teamed up with rehabilitation patients, going through some training and exercise programs.”
“Summit Fleet do a fantastic job of giving back to the community so it is great that we can be involved in that too. It’s a rewarding day for the drivers and team members involved.”
Summit Fleet Leasing and Management’s General Manager, David Clinch added “We have been along for the ride for many years with the Jones brothers and feel as though our performance in our industry is very similar to Brad Jones Racing, both are capable high quality teams that do the best they possibly can all the time!”
“We are also pleased to include our Your Ride? Your Rules!™ branding into the livery, coinciding with the release of our updated novated platform that has been designed to put information into the hands of our customers, making novated leasing interaction seamless.”
Thanks to the BJR drivers for putting a smile of the faces of the patients at the Mater Hospital this week and hopefully the Summit Fleet BJR Supercar has some great results on the weekend!
The Summit Fleet Racing Commodore will be on track this Friday at Queensland Raceway. The first session of the weekend will be the additional co-drivers session, with Macauley Jones behind the wheel at 10:10am.
