THE RECAP

The Supercars hit the streets of Adelaide for the first race of the season. Adelaide turned up the heat, but not enough to see the drivers tough it out in the usual 70-degree cabins.

Nick has shown fast speed in qualifying, the Blackwoods Racing Commodore being one of the top ten cars and contesting in the fan favorite Top Ten Shootout. However, we faced challenges in the race today and plenty of on-track battles kept fans entertained. A late safety car saw a number of carnage filled safety cars follow in quick succession. Nick kept the Blackwoods Racing Commodore clean and brought it home in 12th position.

The team are set to qualify again tomorrow morning at 9:40am with Nick aiming to be in the Top Ten Shootout again, followed by the final 250kms. The winner of this race, will be the Adelaide 500 champion.
