The 2018 Virgin Australia Supercars Championship is about to begin! The home-town hero and 2016 Adelaide 500 winner Nick Percat and the Blackwoods Racing Commodore arrive in Adelaide today.


This weekend Nick is debuting a brand-new chassis, his first ever brand-new Supercar, and is looking forward to turning it on for his home crowd. He and team-mate Tim Slade both finished in the top 5 at the recent test day; and are looking forward to continuing their fast pace into the season opening event.

- Of the 40 Adelaide 500 Supercars races held, the Safety Car has appeared in 35 of them

- Nick debuts a brand-new chassis here this weekend, one of 13 new chassis on the grid

- Winning the 2016 Adelaide 500 made Nick the first ever local driver to win the race

- This marks the 20th Adelaide 500 event, with Nick attending every single one! He was only 9 years old at the first A500 event.
