THE WORD FROM NICK

“The qualifying format changed things up for us today. We had the engine issue which forced us out of the two initial sessions meaning we’ll start from the back of the grid for the first two races tomorrow. The team worked as quickly as they could and replaced the ECU and got me back out for the 3rd and 4th qualifying sessions.”

“We’ll have our work cut out for us in tomorrow’s races but we’ll do our best to move forward and get some good data from Car #8.”

“Hopefully this is our run of bad luck over though, I think we’ve had some misfortune at the test day, Clipsal 500 and now here, which is really unusual for the team. So from here on, I think we’ll be ready to get some good results on the board.”
