THE WORD FROM THE ENGINEER - PAUL

“In previous years we’ve had a strong car at Homebush. I think having a car which combines good braking confidence and rotation is key for this circuit.”

“Reverting back to the 2 x 250km racing format this year has the potential to make the racing even more exciting. Over longer races we see people elect to try different strategies to move their way forward. Some people may elect to be aggressive early and to try gain track position where as others may bias there stops towards the end of the races. Safety cars are a common occurrence at Homebush and will also play a part in strategy. Choosing whether to stop and fill up with fuel could mean a shorter final pit stop but a loss in track position. Combine this with the unpredictable weather and we should see an exciting finish to the season!”
