THE WORD FROM JASON – “It was a good day and as always, it’s good to be back at Bathurst. We came here expecting to be strong and we saw that our cars were competitive all throughout the sessions today. We’ve got a couple of areas to tidy up to make it better for tomorrow, but that was a positive first day.”

THE ENGINEERS WORD – Paul Scalzo - What do you think are the three key elements to winning this race?

For me it’s having a fast race car, a well-planned strategy and being up the front with 60 laps to go. Every year we say it’s a sprint from lap 100. At this point in the race the co-drivers have all completed their laps and the main drivers are in, you needed to have chosen a strategy to put you in a good position, and lastly hope your car is fast enough to race with the best! If all these things fall into place, we should be able to fight for a podium or better!
