THE WORD FROM BRIGHTY

“During the first qualifying session, I had a good run on the first set of softs and was running in the top five. We put on another set and that second set just didn’t really come on like I thought they would. I think we were one of the only cars that didn’t improve on their second run so we got bumped down the order; we’ll be looking into that tonight to find out what that was.”

“It was a bit disappointing as I thought we had top 7 pace on the soft tyres but it turns out we had better pace with the hards so I’m in a better starting spot for tomorrow’s second race.”

“Everyone has their little routine that they go into for qualifying and I don’t feel like I got mine right in the first session. I think we’ve got the pace to run inside the top ten.”
