Howdy folks, Ya’ll better tune in this week cause we’re heading to the wild west, yeeha!

Where are we going this week?

We’re over the halfway mark of the Eseries and Round Six takes us to the US of A – Circuit of the Americas (COTA) in Texas to be exact. Hold on tight, we’re in for a spectacular ride. On this week’s agenda is one quali session followed by a Top Ten Shootout. Yep, the Shootout is back! A reverse grid (we know what that means) follows with a points total grid and 3 races all at the one track.

BJR Car #8 Nick Percat

Nick now sits 11th in the overall championship leaderboard and is winning the in-house BJR cup on 696 points (147 points infront). After making the shootout last week, Nick is once again focused on the top ten and a solid night of trouble free racing (fingers crossed).

The word from Nick:

“Circuit of the Americas is a really cool track so I’m looking forward to tonight. I had an epic battle last week with (F1 driver) Lando Norris (he just got me at the end), and he’s back tonight so I have some unfinished business there”

BJR Car #14 Todd Hazelwood

Todd Hazelwood is ready to be anything but camouflaged in the Brut Military Grade Commodore this week. After a very tough round last week, with 2 engine blow ups, it’s onwards and upwards for Todd. His eyes are also set on that shootout and three races to get him back on that leaderboard.

The word from Todd:

“I’m so pumped for this week and I’ve been doing over time on my sim to make sure I’m ready to go. Getting some much better results for BJR, Brut and myself is what I’m fighting for so I can't wait to head to Texas!”

Team CoolDrive #3 Macauley Jones

Macauley Jones in the Team CoolDrive Commodore has been putting in the hours on his sim and also taking part in some different races during the week to help him get ready for Texas. After taking part in some awesome battles last week, we’re sure there’s more to come tonight!

The word from Macca:

“My BJR Data Engineer, Andrew Donnolly, basically lives at my house at the moment haha, as I’ve been basically taking part in any racing I can to get more practice in. It’s really helping me and I feel like I’m improving and getting more confident each week. I have a feeling it’ll all be happening tonight so I can’t wait!”

SCT Motor Sports #4 Jack Smith

With his best night of results last week in the competition, Jack in the SCT Motor Sports Commodore is ready to race. With some new kit added to his sim, he’s all set to keep that momentum going and better those results.

The word from Jack:

“I’m excited to race at COTA, I would have loved to have actually raced there when Supercars went a few years back. I’ve been learning the track this week and it’ll be great racing. Might have to bring out the boots for this one haha”

Super2 Wildcard #140 Josh Fife

Josh Fife joins the team and we’re so pumped to see what he can bring to the table. He’s all set for his night of racing and has been eagerly learning the track over the past week. Let’s see how he goes up against the big names!

The word from Josh:

“I’m really looking forward to being a part of the Eseries and getting the opportunity to take on the main game drivers. It’s going to be a lot of fun with some great battles, no doubt.

“My goal is to be middle of the pack, so I’ll be stoked if I’m up around there. I’m competing against the best so I’m just grateful to be involved. Thanks to Capital Gas Works and BJR for supporting me in the Eseries. Hopefully, I have a great night of racing”.

Anything else?

Six Wildcards will be joining the grid this week, among them, our very own BJR Super2 Driver Josh Fife. Along with Josh is Supercars legend Craig Lowndes, Garth Tander, F1 Driver Lando Norris, Nascar champ Austin Cindric and Indy 500 winner Will Power. What a line-up this will be!
