14TH APRIL: ESERIES JETS OFF FOR ROUND TWO

BP SUPERCARS ALL STARS ESERIES

The BP Supercars All Stars Eseries heads to famous F1 tracks, Silverstone (UK) and Barcelona (Spain) for Round Two tomorrow night. Round one went off with a bang and certainly wasn’t short of entertainment so round two is a must see event for Supercars fans!  

BJR liveries will remain the same for this week’s round with Nick Percat in the #8 Dunlop Super Dealer Racing Commodore and stablemate Todd Hazelwood in the #14 Plus Fitness Racing ZB. Both drivers have practiced hard over Easter and they’re both eyeing off some good results. 

“The racing was really fun, and I enjoyed getting my competitive side flowing again,” said Percat. 

“I had some great battles at Phillip Island and look forward to racing at two iconic tracks up next. leading into the next round, I’ve been working on improving my strategy and more testing in race runs so I know exactly how much fuel to put in.” 

And for the first time, prize money has also been introduced with a $1000 prize for the round winner, donated to the driver’s charity of choice. 

ARMOR ALL qualifying will now be broadcast exclusively live from 6pm on Fox Sports 506 after impressive ratings from round one. The broadcast will then continue from 7pm AEST on Fox Sports 506, 10 Play and on our Facebook page. 

On the racing schedule is three timed quali sessions for Race 1,3 and 4, the results of Race 1 at Silverstone will determine the reverse grid starting order for Race 2, which we saw last week at Phillip Island. 

The opening races at both Silverstone and Barcelona will be sprint races, lasting approximately 15 minutes while the second and fourth races of the night will be regular races lasting 20 minutes each, with one compulsory pit stop required in all four races.

Todd Hazelwood in the Plus Fitness Racing Commodore is geared up for Round Two after an intense first round, “I’m looking forward to racing with hopefully less shunts this time! More preparation has been the key for me leading into this Wednesday, working on strategy and fuel,” said Hazelwood. 

“Overall I’m enjoying the racing and it’s exactly what the people at home want. I’m looking forward to seeing how I go around the Silverstone and Barcelona tracks.”
