RECAP:
It was a solid return to racing for the Brut Military Grade Commodore. After qualifying in a competitive 12th on the grid, Todd made up a spot and pressured Pye and Coulthard before making an early stop on lap 12 for two fresh tyres. After dropping back to 22nd, Todd leapfrogged back up the field to finish in p11.
THE WORD FROM TONY WOODWARD – ENGINEER CAR #14
“Todd made a good start but got stuck behind Pye which cost us some time and really forced our hand to bring the car in early. We really got as much out of the car as we could. The car worked really well and Todd drove it great.”
THE WORD FROM TODD
“I’m pretty happy with the first day back. The Brut Military Grade Commodore was good today but the pitstop cost us some time. It was so fast paced through the day it was really hard to think about changes. I can’t wait to get back in the car tomorrow and thanks to the team for a great car.”
